Trial eligibility
The trial aims to enroll the person diagnosed with COVID-19 (index patient) and any unvaccinated adults who are not COVID-19 positive and are not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
Household members may be eligible to enroll in the MOVe-AHEAD study if:
Index patient: A person (any age) that has been diagnosed as COVID-19 positive in the past 5 days. The Index case will not receive any study drug or currently approved treatments as part of the trial.
Primary participant: Unvaccinated adults who are not experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and are not currently COVID-19 positive that live with the index patient. These participants will be randomized to either study drug or placebo.
