In addition to his medical qualifications, Dr. Cardona is also a lawyer, bringing a unique legal perspective to his practice. He has further enhanced his expertise by obtaining a Master in Business Administration (MBA) as well as a Master in Healthcare Administration, allowing him to merge his medical and legal knowledge with effective management strategies in healthcare settings.

Dr. Evelio H. Sosa
Doctor Evelio H. Sosa is an adult general psychiatrist and key Principal Investigator. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida, where he also completed his psychiatry residency. Dr. Sosa has held leadership roles at Mercy Hospital, Coral Gables Hospital, among other notable institutions. With over 25 years in clinical practice and leadership, and over a decade in clinical research, Dr. Sosa brings deep expertise in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, clinical trials, CNS disorders, psychiatric rating scales, and collaboration with major pharmaceutical companies and CROs.
Bilingual, he is fluent in Spanish and English and, has multiple areas of expertise, including Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) / Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Bipolar Disorder. He actively participates in hospital committees focused on safety, performance and recruitment.
Dr. Sosa is on a mission to use his knowledge and experience to assist individuals in maintaining stable mental health and improving their quality of life, as well as helping to advance clinical trials for the benefit of the community.

As an experienced Assistant Director of an Emergency Department, Dr. Vega is specialized at treating patients facing life-threatening conditions. His expertise encompasses a wide range of critical situations, including heart attacks, drug overdoses, shock, and massive bleeding. His ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure environments is a testament to his training and experience, making him a important staff in any emergency situation.
Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Vega has participated in clinical trials across all phases (I–IV) and has led over 30 studies in cardiology, vaccines, endocrinology, CNS, renal, respiratory, and women’s health.
Dr. Vega also brings extensive experience as a clinical rater, proficient in a wide range of validated assessment tools, including the MMSE, MADRS, and SCID-5-CT. He holds active certifications in ACLS, PALS, and CITI training, and consistently upholds GCP standards. Board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine (1997–2024), Dr. Vega is dedicated to advancing evidence-based medicine through ethical, high-impact clinical research.

Dr. Alfredo Lagomasino
Dr. Alfredo Lagomasino, APRN-FNP, is a seasoned Sub-Investigator and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse at Indago Research and Health Center, Inc., where he also serves as a clinical rater and team leader.
With over two decades of medical experience, Dr. Lagomasino holds a Master’s in Nursing and APRN-FNP certification from Miami Regional Institute, as well as multiple specialties earned in Cuba in neonatology and family medicine. He has contributed significantly to over 40 clinical trials across therapeutic areas such as psychiatry, neurology, endocrinology, nephrology, and cardiovascular risk. His background includes experience as a primary care physician and specialist in both U.S. and Cuban healthcare systems.
Dr. Lagomasino is also certified in various rating scales and is fluent in English and Spanish, supporting Indago’s mission with clinical excellence and dedication.
