ARE YOU INTERESTED IN BEING PART OF AN RSV VACCINE STUDY?
DID YOU KNOW?
- RSV is a highly contagious virus that impacts most people and in mild cases presents like a common cold.
- However, RSV can cause more serious respiratory illness, mainly in older adults, young infants, and adults with chronic diseases.
- Like influenza, RSV is seasonal, and most cases typically occur in the winter.
- There are two approved vaccines for prevention of RSV disease for older adults (≥60 years).
Your participation in the study will help to determine whether an investigational vaccine helps to provide protection against RSV in different populations.
To participate, you must be over 60 years of age OR must be 18 to 49 years of age AND have at least one of the following conditions:
- Chronic lung disease
- Chronic heart disease
- Chronic kidney disease
- Chronic liver disease
- Chronic neurological disease
